Glass Bottle for “Crystal Beauty” Challenge

This is the 2nd part of the challenge over at Mixed Media & Art.
This time it’s about transparency and circles.

So the 2 stage you must use:
Transparent Material – NOT from Scrapbooking
Circles – in any form

And this is the way I made my art:

A deorated old glass bottle. I started with a layer of white crackle paint at the place where I wanted to put my flowers etc. Then filled up with lots of cheesecloth and build up the flower cluster. Circles are added as stamped images colored with watercolor paint. I cut them out and used as decoration under the flowers and two glued back to back – one big and one smaller – for the tag with the words.

Green Layout for Snip Art

Big contrasts today with this fresh green layout vs the weather outside! It’s autumn with rain, wind and yellow leaves fluttering all over right now.

Idag blir det en härligt vårgrön layout för Snip Art mitt i höstrusket. En ganska stor kontrast mot höstvädret ute där det virvlar runt gula löv i regn och blåst.

My friend Maya made a lollipop card when we where in Norway at a crop, and I just had to make one myself too. I went for autumn colors with the new lovely Prima-papers.

När vi var i Norge och pysslade så satt Maya och gjorde ett sånt här Lollipopkort, och när min fantasi tröt så blev det så att jag körde igång med ett jag med. Blev lite större modell än vad jag gjort tidigare så det blev några remsor att vika för att få ihop den yttersta cirkeln så att säga! Kärade ner mig grymt i dom där scallopcirklarna (lånade dien av Maya till att börja med), så det var bara att gå och handla sen det… det var ju bara några steg att ta så var man mitt i mässan med scrapsaker (på gott och ont för den stackars plånboken).

Sorry it’s been quiet in here for a while. It’s not that I haven’t been crafting, it’s just that life and family has been put first.
This is a tag I made past weekend in Avesta at a crop with friends.

Ursäkta att det varit lite tyst här ett tag. Det är ju inte så att jag inte har pysslat, utan mer att familjen har blivit prioriterad och att jag plötsligt fått inta rollen som taxichaufför flera ggr i veckan! Lite ovan roll för mig då barnen inte haft så stora önskemål hittills. Häpp!

Här är i alla fall en tag som jag gjorde i helgen på träffen i Avesta. Härligt att få skämma bort sig lite med pyssel två helger i rad (var i Norge för två helger sedan).
