Once in a while it happens! I have made a layout – woohooo!

Plötsligt händer det!
Mina foton hamnar mest i PL-albumet numera, men ibland rycker jag något och scrappar en sida istället. För den som funderar så har jag lyckats scrappa mig fram i PL-albumet till vecka 25, nästan halva året gjort med andra ord. Nu återstår andra halvan. Ytterligare 4 veckors bilder är i ordninggjorda och framkallade så jag ska klämma in lite tid och sätta mig. Det ser mörkt ut för min plan att hinna med hela året innan januari är slut, men skam den som ger sig… jag får väl fortsätta i februari oxå då. Inte värre än så. ;) Det som tar mest tid är faktiskt att göra i ordning bilderna för framkallning, men då passar jag även på att göra dom storlekar jag behöver, ev. skriver ett par rader på fotot och vips tar jag igen tiden när jag sätter in allt i albumet istället. Nog så skönt.

Nog om det, idag har jag en layout att visa som jag gjort för Engströms! Lite klet och kladd och faktum är att det är några spillbitar från höstens halloweenpapper (!). Jag har haft på transparent medium genom en stensil och sedan strösslat lite guldflagor ovanpå som fastnat. Prickarna är skvätt från gul och svart mist. Jag använde även den gula misten till att färga in en blomma eftersom jag inte hade några (förvånande!) knallgula blommor i mina förråd.

Pink Christmas – for Visible Image

Rockin’ around the christmas tree…

Guess what? I’ve played with the brand new Christmas stamps from Visible Image this weekend! Whohooo, they are totally amazing if you like to play around with colors, papers, mixed media or whatever. My passion is spray mists and watercolors, so that is what I have for you today!

The “rockin’ around the christmas tree” card is colored with watercolors on watercolor paper. Randomly picked and brusched on wet paper. When it was dry I splattered a tiny bit of blue on top and then stamped the tree and the sentense. Since it’s watercolor paper with a pretty rough surface you won’t get the totally black image you’ll get on smooth paper. I think it just adds texture to the piece, but if you want it perfect black – pick a smooth paper! Stamp set is called Rockin’ around, and you’ll find it HERE!

Then I’ve made a pink (!) christmas card. *gasp* But isn’t it kind of cool and pretty? Once again I’ve used watercolor paper, but this time with mists in pink and grey/silver-ish. Let it dry and stamped the beautiful collage stamp “Christmas Collage” on top. Like the other card, since it’s stamped on water color paper it adds texture to the image since the paper is a bit rough. The big snowflakes are grungeboard that I’ve painted with white gesso and added glitter to. Notice the badge in the middle of the big snowflake? It’s home made, and I’ve stamped the snowflake from the White Christmas set on a pink paper, cutted out in the right size for the badge and put it together. Think it become a beautiful center piece.

Idag blir det julkort i lite annorlunda färger! Varför måste man hålla sig till dom vanliga färgerna? Nä, lek och ha skoj istället. Dom nya julstämplarna från Visible Image är såååå läckra att ha till lite mixed media-liknande projekt. Jag har lekt med spraymister och akvarellfärger på dessa kort.

Words and colors for Visible Image

Since colors are so fun to play with, I can’t stop with just one card. The new sentiments are so perfect for stamping on a colorful background. I’ve played with different kinds of mist colors, but not the regular way (misting). I’ve wet the paper (watercolor paper) and then dripped and wiggled the color around. Dripped some more color, dried it, dripped some water on it and more color and another round until I liked it. It can’t be wrong, let the colors guide you!

Then the best part, to find a sentiment that match up with what I’ve created. Now I have several lovely new ones from Visible Image to play with so it became three cards today!

The sentiments used: Lilac card: Take the moment. Brown/Blue card: A best friend. Green card: Stay Strong.

Idag har jag inte mindre än tre färgglada kort att bjuda på!
När man väl börjar leka med färger så går det liksom inte att sluta. Med dom nya textstämplarna från Visible Image så blir det extra skoj att försöka matcha in en text med det man fått ihop. Länkarna till texterna hittar ni i det engelska stycket ovan.

You Rock – for Visible Image

Today I think I need some happy colors to stay awake. After a lovely crop over the weekend with my best friends I’m a bit tired. Bright happy colors from Dylusion Mists. Blended in water and dripped and dropped several times. Dried in between. Then I used stamps from Max Rocks Stamp Set that you’ll find at Visible Image. Max himself is stamped on watercolor paper and colored in with watercolor pens. I won them at the crop and had to try them out. :)

Idag behövs det många glad-färger för att hålla sig vaken. Efter en underbar pysselhelg på Fristadsträffen med goaste vännerna + ett gäng andra pysslare så börjar jag bli lite trött. Så starka glada färger från Dylusions fick det bli. Jag har blandat med vatten, drippat och droppat i omgångar. Torkat lite emellan och så på med lite mer. Alla stämplar jag använt är från Max Rocks Stamp Set.
