Today I’ve found two little bunnies hoppin around. Are they on their way to easter maybe?
Background is made with watercolors.

KKS – Tutorial – ink smooshing

Welcome to a Monday with Tips and Tutes over at Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps.

Today I’m going to smoosh some ink, and I hope you’ll join in and have some fun.
Get ready, you don’t need much to play.

You need: 3-4 Distress ink pads, spray bottle with water and some paper.
I have die cut a tag out of pretty cheap watercolor paper,
but I know this works on other kind of paper too, so try it out what you like best!
It’s good if it not get flimsy when it become a bit wet.

Scribble your inkpads on a plastic surface. I’ve used my craft teflon sheet.

Mist water until you see the ink pearl.

Smoosh your paper (tag) into the colors.

And have a look. Yum! I dried this with my heat gun.

And smooshed again in the ink – and dried it.

Smooshed and draged a few times more. You don’t have to dry it in between every time you smoosh, you can just try a variation. To get more “spots” try drying it and smoosh again.

This is what it looked when I was satisfied after a bunch of smooshing in the ink.

And I couldn’t hold back from my mist bottles so I splashed a few drops of Glimmer Mist over the colored part to add some shimmer. Unscrew the top and use the “straw” inside to drip or splash some ink randomly (Note – I don’t mist the color on).

This little dog is my totally favorite! That bone must be the best treat ever. I’ve fuzzy cut him and placed him over a background made with watercolors. Just some random dirtyness. Dog is from a set called A Furry Surprise and the sentense is from the set You’re Nifty.

Då kör vi en ny onsdagsutmaning hos Kraftin Kimmie!
Som vanligt – anything goes, så sätt igång och skapa, och ladda upp senast tisdag natt nästa vecka.

Jag har använt min lilla favoritvovve igen och gjort en egen bakgrund med lite akvarellfärger. Tog dom “smutsigaste” jag hade… hehe.

Ink Play

It has been a bit slow here in my blog during the weekend, sorry for that. I’ve been more active in my studio and I think I spent all saturday in there besides some breaks for food. These cards where one thing that I’ve made. I call them “in between cards”. Just something easy and playful without rules to clear the creative mind a bit. I totally love it!

Ber om ursäkt för en ganska död helg här i bloggen. Det har blivit desto mer skapat i min pysselstudio, och jag tror jag spenderade nästan hela lördagen där förutom lite avbrott för mat och sånt annat trams. Det fanns en del på listan att göra pysselmässigt och sen sprattlade den kreativa sidan till lite och jag gjorde sånt jag bara hade lust med. Härligt.

Dom här korten är nått som jag kallar “mitt-emellan-kort”. Dom blir alltså skapade mellan två andra alster som har lite mer krav på sig om man säger så. Här blir det lek av hjärtans lust och vips tittar det fram några kort i slutänden (med lite tur). Ett sätt att rensa hjärnan helt enkelt.

KKS – release february 13th + Challenge

Wooohooo! We are at the last day of our previews and on top of that it’s challenge day!

OMG – have you seen these flowers? They are just awsome. On my card I’ve embossed the flowers in white on watercolor paper and then colored them in with watercolors. The leaves are cut out and mounted on top as a 3D effect.

This is the final set of the new release of clear stamps for February. It is an absolutely stunning floral set from artist Becky Pearce!
This beautiful stamp set is called BUDS & BLOOMS, and has so many gorgeous elements to get creative with plus a bunch of lovely sentiments for a total of FIFTEEN stamps! Wait ’til you see in in action in the hop…..you won’t believe all the amazing things you can do with it!

It’s also Challenge Day and our hostess is JENNY. Då var vi framme vid den sista dagen av förhandstittarna på dom nya stämplarna för februari hos Kraftin Kimmie. Klockan 20.00 IKVÄLL är det LIVE Online Release Party på Facebook – missa inte det! Och alltså, dom här blommorna är bara så läckra och går att använda med sååå många olika tekniker. Kika runt hos dom andra Krafty-tjejerna får ni se vad dom har gjort.
