I did it AGAIN! *sigh* Uses some lovely blue colors, and then I can’t find one little piece of paper in matching color. GAH! So typical me. Had to go with some yellow instead, and strange anough I liked it. The cool stamp is Alice in Wonderland and you’ll find her at Visible Image. And if you see my misstake, just ssshhhhh (don’t tell).

Jaha, då har man gjort samma misstag ytterligare en gång… *suck*. Målade mitt motiv med underbara blå färger (som omväxling) och sen kan jag inte hitta ett enda matchande papper i blått! GAH! Blir galen. Kanske ett bevis på att jag inte ska måla i blått? Hur som helst, det blev lite gula papper istället och faktum är att jag tycker det funkade riktigt bra!

Changed – for Visible Image

Welcome wednesday.
For my first card I’ve been playing and mixing the words from Alice set with Edgar from Visible Image. For the second one I’ve rediscover some foil, and just know I had some sticky embossing powder so I digged through my boxes and found it. So, everything on the card is covered with foil! You’ll find the kit Rock Out here, and the circles are from the Universal kit.

I stamped the rocker and words with Versa Mark ink, covered him with “sticky embossing powerder” (there is several names on that product that acts the same, it becomes like a glue when you’ve melted it). Right after the powder melted I put on the sheet of foil. Then I just rubbed it easily with my nails like you do when you use rub-ons. You can probably use a bone folder or something too, just be gentle. You can see when the foil sticks and then you just pull it off. The line around is drawn by hand with a 2-way-glue pen. Let it “dry” and then add the foil. I had a bigger 2-way glue pen, and I added that direct to my circle stamps and stamped with the glue! Waited until it was “dry” and then added the foil once again. So easy and so fun! The golden circles are die cutted foam tape that I’ve added gold foil to.

Då var vi mitt i veckan igen och jag bloggar hos Visible Image. På det första kortet har jag mixat texten från Alice set med Edgar.
På det andra kortet har jag lekt med stämplarna från Rock Out , och en av cirklarna från Universal. Jag gjorde det tillsammans med en återupptäckt av folie! Sen visste jag att jag någonstans i mina lådor hade klistrigt embossingpulver, så jag rotade lite och hittade det. Det innebar att jag kunde stämpla och embossa motivet med detta för att sedan täcka motivet med folie! Häpp! Man lägger över foliet så fort embossingpulvret har smält så det inte mister sin klistriga förmåga. Gnugga försiktigt med naglar eller verktyg över hela motivet – det syns när det fäster, det är ungefär som gnuggisar.

Ramen målade jag för hand med en 2-way glue pen. Man låter limranden “torka” och sedan lägger man över folie och gnuggar lite och vips sitter det där. Dom blå cirklarna är stämplade med samma 2-way glue, fast från en större penna där jag kunde stryka på limmet direkt från pennan på stämpeln (tvätta noga sen!). Jag stämplade, lät torka och gnuggade sen på folien. Guldprickarna är 3-D kuddar som jag stansat ur cirklar ur och sedan gnuggat folie på den självhäftande ytan.

Destiny – för Visible Image

It’s wednesday and I have a card for Visible Image to show you. I’ve used Orin Destiny set this time and it comes with 4 stamps. You can see 3 of them on my card. With this kind of image I didn’t want to make the card too cute, so I skipped the flowers this time. The words come together in one piece and I haven’t cut them apart. I just masked the part off with post it notes that I didn’t want to have ink on when I stamped. Very smart trick!

Då var det onsdag igen och jag bloggar för Visible Image. På mitt kort har jag använt 3 av stämplarna från Orin Destiny set. Med tanke på motivet så skippade jag blommor och annat lull-lull den här gången för att det inte skulle bli allt för “gulligt”, jag tyckte inte det passade in. Textstämpeln sitter ihop, och jag har inte klippt isär den. Jag använde mig av tricket att maska av den bit jag inte ville ha bläck på med post-it lappar!

Mixade kort – för Visible Image

I’m back with a bunch of artsy cards again. This is what I love with card making – the mix of doing all different kind of cards. These cards are for Visible Image and I’ve used two of their brand new sets. Colours of the Wind and Rock Out. The third card is made with one of their beautiful word stamp called These are the moments.

Idag är jag tillbaka igen hos Visible Image och jag har gjort några mer “artsy” kort än vad ni normalt ser. Jag fullkomligt älskar att variera mig, och att få leka och kladda lite emellanåt är bara så skoj! Några av deras stämplar är nämligen som gjorda för att användas tillsammans med lite (mycket!) färg. ABOVE: On this card I’ve played with different kind of mists on water color paper. I wet the paper and dripped colors from the mist, I didn’t spray them on. More water and let it blend together. When it all was dry I stamped the leaf on top. A bit tricky since the paper have a bit structure.

ABOVE: I just totally loooove this background! Didn’t want to hide much of it so I used the beautiful word stamp to go with it. Background is made on plain paper, but I put a layer gesso on first, and then I went crazy with my distress stains a bit. Sprayed on some water to get the structure. When it was dry I dripped some more colors on fron Adirondack, and did a light mist with water on top. Last thing I did was stamp the circle with dots (you see better on next card what it looks like) with a Champagne dazzle VersaMark and embossed with clear EP. It looks like water drips on the card. Hard to see on photo but I hope the last picture shows it a bit.

ABOVE: This Rock Out card is made with a piece from the same background as the card above. I stamped the rocker in black and made him a bit “watercolory” (is that a word? LOL). Stamped again to give him a shadow. The outline in white is made by a white pitt pastel pen. I tried to do a white line on the inside too, but the white pen didn’t really cooperate with me. Dotted circle are from the kit Universal
and I stamped it in grey and black on a few places. I didn’t fit the words in on a row, so I masked half of with a post it note when color it up. That way I could get it in two rows instead.

Alice – for Visible Image

Alice – for Visible Image


Welcome wednesday!
Today I’ve played with a character that I think many of us recognise. Alice in Wonderland. Oh, at least everyone except me then… lol. I can’t remember I read much of that book as a child so maybe I need to update myself with the story a bit.
Anyhow, you’ll find Alice and a some of her friends at visible Image. Since I don’t know much about the story, I thought violet was a perfect color for the girl today.

Idag bjuder jag på en ganska känd karaktär från böckernas värld – nämligen Alice i Underlandet. Du hittar henne och några av hennes vänner hos visible Image.
Eller ja, hon är väl kanske känd för dom flesta, men jag är inte så bevandrad i den sagan måste jag erkänna. Jag kom nog aldrig överens med den som barn, och jag tror inte ens jag läste hela, för jag har ingen aning om vad storyn går ut på. Kanske ska försöka uppdatera mig själv i vuxen ålder lite på den fronten.
Jag tyckte i alla fall att Alice passade utmärkt i lila idag!
