A card that took a while to make, but is the coolest for the reciever! Push the magic button and see it light up. You’ll find a video tutorial tomorrow about how to make the card. Don’t miss that! It’s easier then you think! When I made this (as you can see in my video tomorrow) I messed up a bit with the leds… The end of story is that all 5 leds lights up just fine now!

Visst är det häftigt! Den lilla extra tid det tar att fixa strömslingorna på baksidan är klart värt det när mottagaren trycker på den magiska knappen och ser kortet lysa! En video-tutorial på hur kortet är gjord dyker upp redan imorgon! Missa inte det. Det är enklare än vad man kan tro när man ser “konceptet”. När jag gjorde det här kortet så strulade det lite med lamporna (som du kommer se i videon imorgon), men jag kan skvallra om att alla 5 ledlamporna nu lyser helt perfekt!

I’ve seen it starts to grow in the bushes… not common yet, but it has started! What?
To put light on your cards! Or maybe you should say INSIDE your cards. Push the “button” and let it shine!

I’ve just ordered some Chibi-lights, but I couldn’t wait until they arrived, since I have a whole bunch of led lights at home already. I’ve used them as decorations, and now I got a reason to use them correct too. LOL.
Copper tape was already in my stash, so the only thing I needed to buy was batteries and IKEA have them real cheap! (Like 8 for US$2)

Ännu en ny sak som jag testat. Det här har börjat bubbla i buskarna och det kommer säkert att bli en liten våg med lysande kort ska ni se. Riktigt skoj är det och inte allt för svårt nämligen. Det som behövs är led-lampor, knappcellsbatteri och koppartejp! Busenkel.

Dessa ledlampor hade jag redan i pysselrummet eftersom jag använt dom som dekoration på korten utan att “koppla in dom”. (Tack Milo för tips – gillar dom)
Men nu var det alltså dags att tillföra lite ström oxå. Grävde fram min koppartejp som jag haft i rätt många år (till andra tekniker) och hittade superbilliga batterier på IKEA! (8st för 15kr) Sen var det bara att börja “bygga” lite. Eftersom jag ville ha lamporna i blommorna, fick jag göra klart mitt kort som jag brukar, hela vägen utan att limma fast allt på kortstommen så att säga. När kortet var dekorerat och klart med blommor och lampor gjorde jag min kopparslinga på baksidan av alla lager innan jag satte fast allt på kortstommen.

Jag ska ta och göra en egen tutorial om detta inom kort och försöka komma ihåg att fota varje steg, den här gången gjorde jag det uppenbarligen INTE och det grämer mig. Men det ska bli fler kort så misströsta inte. Nu ska här lysas upp lite höstmörker!

Each day from Decemeber 1st through the 12th we will be sharing lots of handmade goodies on Kraftin’ Kimmie blog. We have so much fun to share with you and hope you’ll get lots of Krafty ideas of what to give this year.

I’ve made a box that holds a small box of matches and two candles.
A perfect warming gift to give anyone.
I made it fit my items so you might have to adjust your box if you got other things to put inside.

It can be made from one 12″ x 12″ cardstock + decoration papers!

Cut two pieces of cardstock. One for the Box, and one for the Lid.
Score 1″ from sides on both. Then cut from shortest side to the first scoring line – see my black dots on the picture.

BEFORE gluing your box together you can decorate it with the patterned paper – it’s much easier. Only save the “top” decorations etc to do when you have glued it all together.

NOTE: if you want a window in your lid, do it now (before gluing your box together). :) Use any shape of die to cut in the lid, as big or as small as you like. Glue a piece of acetate on the inside (or just any plastic).

Fold your box together and glue the shortest sides.
Now you can start decorate on top!

The lid is decorated with one of the children from the set Angel Voices.
Sentense is from a set called Happy Winter Days.
I just inked it up partly and stamped it in a row instead.

I’ve decorated the match box in the same paper as the bigger box, and just added a few decorations.

If you not want to give candles, just put some candy in the box instead.
Larger box? Add an inch for the box on every side. Score 2″ from sides and your box will be higher. Lid can still be the same.
