Welcome to Day ONE of Kraftin’ Kimmies JULY Krafty Previews!

I’ve made a pretty simple card for this first day. Love this cool witch so wanted her to be in focus. The only decoration is a strip of strong adhesive tape with beads and glitter. I found an old jar of Beadazzles and used it!

Welcome to the very first day of our Krafty Peeks for the fabulous new July release of clear stamps. The theme is totally MAGICAL.
Today we are sharing TWO wicked new stamp sets by artist Annie Rodrigue. The first is a hauntingly cute witch called WITCH WANDA. This 4×4 clear stamp set comes with the sassy main image PLUS three fun coordinating sentiments. The second set features another silly little witch called WITCH WILLA. This 4×4 set comes with the sweet main image PLUS five coordinating sentiments.

You’ll see both of these fun stamp sets featured by our amazing Krafty Girl Design Team and Guest in today’s blog hop. Ni vet det där Pinterest? Där kan man hitta massa skojsiga idéer och tips och ett som annat, och det var även där jag ramlade över dom här bok-pumporna!

Sagt och gjort, gamla böcker fanns ju i överflöd ute på vårt loppis, så det var bara att hugga en. Sen ritade jag en liten mall på ett papper som jag klippte boksidorna efter, en liten bunt i taget tills jag nått hela vägen igenom min bok. Jag limmade ihop den så den blev rund och trixade dit ett litet “handtag” längst upp. Sen fick alltihop torka så det gick att ta i den utan att den blev skev.

När allt var torrt gick jag lös med orange sprayfärger så kanterna fick färg. Tutade och körde tills jag var nöjd. (Ett hett tips, täck ytan där du är och sprayar eller håll dig i en kartong! Sprayfärg har en tendens att flyga lite var stans) Även handtaget (stjälken) sprayades så den blev lite grön. Pumpan fick återigen torka och sedan dekorerade jag med lite löv och rosetten.

Jag gjorde även tagen med den härliga häx-hÄnglan och satte dit sist av allt.

We want EVERYONE to be able to play along so your submission can use ANY stamp and can be any theme, any style, any design and it can be a card, a scrapbook page, an altered item….you name it. It must be a NEW creation and you can enter on this post until August 18th at midnight.

Today we have a witchy new set by artist, Annie Rodrigue.

I have put my focus on the big lovely image and some halloween and fall papers. I added a cluster of flowers, but chalked the colors down a bit with a grey-ish distress ink pad.

Det är snart dags! Nu på fredag firar många Halloween. Jag är lite tudelad. Det är lite roligt och mysigt men jag gillar inte att Svenskarna bara förknippar det med djävlar, spöken, död och hemskheter. Speciellt inte när det är barnen som klär ut sig till allt detta… Tittar man på USA så ser det inte alls ut så bland barnen och familjerna.
