Ett kort som blivit väldigt poppis i det senaste och vi såg många när vi var i Norge och pysslade och nu har jag testat att göra några själv.

Dubbelbloggar lite eftersom det min dag både hos Copic och Kristinas Scrapbooking idag. Med tanke på att vi fått kyliga frostnätter så passar det här kortet rätt bra. Inte för att jag gillar kylan på något vis, men dom här coola kompisarna ser ut att trivas rätt bra.

Bakgrunden är gjord med akvarellfärger och mistfärg. Prickarna är embossade i vitt.

A few weeks ago I joined a cyber crop. One of the challenges was to make a tag, so this is what I made.

Jazz it up – for Visible Image

This is a fun technique to do, even if it shows up best in real life, not in photo.
I inked up a piece of paper with yellow and orange tones of distress ink. Swirl and blend them together a bit with blending tool (no inkpad direct on paper). Then I put some white mica-powder on top of it with a brush. I embossed the paper with an embossing folder so it got a 3D look. Then I used this piece on my card as a background to the lovely stamps from the Jazz it Up set.
This technique is called faux metallic and you’ll find a great video of it (where I’ve learned this) at Jennifer McGuire.

Ett kort idag till Visible Image där jag testat tekniken “faux metallic” som jag sett hos Jennifer McGuire. Har testat detta flera gånger nu och det blir riktigt läckert. Funkar med alla färger, blir precis lika fint! Stämplarna kommer från ett set som heter Jazz it Up och ett av olika “musik-kit”.

Det är dags för en ny lördagsutmaning igen hos Kraftin Kimmie! Den här gången handlar det om Embossing. En av dom första teknikerna man lärde sig när man hittade stämplarna och det går lite i vågor som man gräver fram sina burkar med pulver. Det är dock fantastiskt skoj varje gång, så det borde göras mycket oftare.
Har du inga stämplar från Kraftin Kimmie så använd dom du har! Det går precis lika bra och ger dig chans att faktiskt vinna lite stämplar från KKS till nästa gång!
