ITAC – Week Three – Oceania

My third entrance for the challenge at Aall and Create.
The Challenge is called INTERNATIONAL TOURNAMENT OF ART & CRAFT = ITAC 2017

The theme for the third challenge is “Oceania” and the criterias are trying to use:

* Patterns inspired by traditional symbols (Maori tattoos, Dots/dashes of aboriginal Arts…)
* Think Monochromatic black and white or think colors of the Earth.
* Some sort of organic or natural material(s) (earth, stone, bone, bark, wood, fibres…)
* Shapes inspired by traditional or indigenous art

There was also a twist that the piece should tell a story. Mine is kind of symbolic with the heart, the blue (ocean) and the wood (land).

So, after trying my best to fit them all in (it’s always fun doing that) my canvas looked like this:

ITAC – Week one – Europe

This is my entrance for the first challenge at Aall and Create.
The Challenge is called INTERNATIONAL TOURNAMENT OF ART & CRAFT = ITAC 2017

The theme for the first challenge is “Europe” and the criterias are trying to use:

*A face
*Papers (newspaper, printed paper, rice paper…etc.)
*Letters, numbers
*Blue for the colour of the European Union, Union Jack…
*Ribbon, twine, string or lace…
*Textures – take inspiration from history from ancient civilisations to the fall of the Berlin Wall
*Something both vintage and modern

(You don’t have to include them all, but I did my best to do that)

Canvas – for Visible Image

I’ve had really fun and made a Canvas for today! Lovely to play around with colors and make a big mess sometimes. I’ve used the Vision INKognito (eye) and the sentense from the set Behind Every Mask. Think they fit well together. I’ve used only acrylic colors I think, and the white dots are heavy modeling paste. The eye is stamped on tissue paper and glued with decopage laque. The green in the eye is painted with pitt pastel pens when the decopage glue was dry. The size of the canvas is 6″ x 6″.

Ohoj! Idag blev det en färgglad Canvas. Länge sedan jag kladdade av hjärtans lust och det var härligt att klämma på med lite knalliga färger. Stämplarna jag har använt är Vision INKognito (ögat) och texten från Behind Every Mask. Alla färger är akrylfärger och dom vita prickarna är tjock modeling paste. Ögat är stämplat på tissue papper och sedan pålimmat med decopage-lack. Det är en liten canvas som är 15×15 cm.
