I’ve found a lovely mood board to create around at Maja Design. Totally love their papers and they are useful for kind of everything you can do in paper.

Hittade en härlig mood board hos Maja Design så det blev en lite kladdig layout av det hela.
Bilden är nog lite för blå mot vad det är i verkligheten, men känner man igen papperen så vet man ungefär färgställningen.
Papperen är från serien Vintage Autumn Basics. En av serierna jag gillar riktigt bra. Ber om ursäkt för att det är lite olika färg på bilderna, men jag glömde ta detaljbider med vanliga kameran när jag fotade layouten så jag tog ett par snabba med telefonen bara för att kunna blogga direkt.

Friday is my Engströms day. I’ve used new stamps from Vildas that just arrived to Engströms.

I’ve made a box that holds a small box of matches and two candles.
A perfect warming gift to give anyone.
I made it fit my items so you might have to adjust your box if you got other things to put inside.
It can be made from one 12″ x 12″ cardstock + decoration papers!
Cut two pieces of cardstock. One for the Box, and one for the Lid.
Score 1″ from sides on both. Then cut from shortest side to the first scoring line – see my black dots on the picture.
BEFORE gluing your box together you can decorate it with the patterned paper – it’s much easier. Only save the “top” decorations etc to do when you have glued it all together.
NOTE: if you want a window in your lid, do it now (before gluing your box together). :) Use any shape of die to cut in the lid, as big or as small as you like. Glue a piece of acetate on the inside (or just any plastic).
Fold your box together and glue the shortest sides.
Now you can start decorate on top!
The lid is decorated with one of the children from the set Angel Voices.
Sentense is from a set called Happy Winter Days.
I just inked it up partly and stamped it in a row instead.
I’ve decorated the match box in the same paper as the bigger box, and just added a few decorations.
If you not want to give candles, just put some candy in the box instead.
Larger box? Add an inch for the box on every side. Score 2″ from sides and your box will be higher. Lid can still be the same.
